The Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 are available to us. They are professional training simulators and often hired in advance by airlines. If you‘d like to hire them it is best done as far in advance as possible.
The simulators we have access to are maintained to the highest standards, and our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience. Whether you are a seasoned pilot or a first-time flyer, we can tailor your simulator experience to your needs and skill level.
Prices start from £499 an hour in the B737 Full Flight Simulator. The more hours you book the more you will save per hour. In the A320 and A330 the facility we hire from has a minimum hire period of 2 hours. The A320 is £949 and the A330 is £1200 for two hours. All of them will come with a 30 minute briefing beforehand.
The “Future Pilot – Career Intro Course”
If you are serious about a career in aviation, specifically as a commercial pilot, getting the opportunity to pick the brains of a pilot may be few and far between. During an experience booking you can of course ask any question you may have but you will be limited by the time of your booking, which you will likely want to spend actually flying the simulator!
As such we have designed a course which will not only give you the opportunity to fly in the simulator of your choice (B737 or A320) for two hours, but there will also be two and a half hours of classroom time where the student can learn more about:
… and the Simulator Session Plan. This will include a discussion of what you may want to achieve and the depth of detail you may wish to have when flying. Don’t worry, you don’t need to know exactly what you want to do … your co-pilot will have ideas as to best show you the life and daily workload of a commercial pilot.
The time in the simulator is ample to enable you to accustom yourself with the controls and ask as many questions on the cockpit you may have. What we want to do though is to allow you to experience the work of a pilot. As such, you will take the aircraft from cold and dark, through real world checks, take off, an A to B flight and back to an airfield bringing your passengers to the gate.
The time devoted to the classroom is spaced out with 60 minutes before your booked time and 90 minutes afterwards. The first hour is spent planning for your flight, you will likely be more excited about getting into the simulator. Once you have finished your session in the Full Flight Level D Simulator, you will have half an hour to have a debrief. We will talk over how you did and answer any questions you may have about your time in the simulator.
Then it is onto the career path. We will explain how to get from where you are now to where you want to be .. a commercial pilot! This time has been shaped into a useful breakdown of what will be required of you on your path.
